Stop for a moment
and think carefully about the things you give brain time to.
The more you think about things the more you bring them into being. A really good example of this is something we can all relate to. You think about getting a new car – a red Ford Fiesta car for example.
After this decision, you begin to notice how many red Ford Fiesta cars you suddenly see and weren’t aware of before.
They were always there of course, but your subconscious mind started looking out for them and so you see them more.
This same principle applies to everything else in our lives so the more you think about the problems the more problems you see. Equally, the more opportunities you look for the more opportunities you’ll see.
Another connected principle here relates to things within your gift to control and the things happening that cause annoyance and frustration over which you have absolutely no jurisdiction at all. So the more you focus on those areas of concern the less you can focus on the areas of control.
Control what you have control over, and be always on the lookout for opportunities, leaving little or no time for concerns or problems. That’ll always be there but you won’t be focusing on them.
